Lake Cathie sits on sandy soil with a high water table, and low lying blocks near the lake can hold groundwater close to the surface. That is usually a surface drainage or absorption issue rather than a burst pipe, but not always. We can trace it. If it is a leak, we will find it. If it is stormwater, the fix is usually redirected surface drainage, a properly fallen agricultural drain, or a pit and pump arrangement.
